Exide Industries Q4FY17 Results
Exide Industries Ltd reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 today.
The company's total sales for Q3FY17 came in at Rs 1975.40 crore, which represents a 14.38 per cent sequential increase and 11.93 per cent YoY increase.
Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs. 206.40 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 10.45 per cent.
The company reported PAT of Rs 164.7 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 9.07 per cent and a YoY decline of 5.89 per cent.
The company's stock opened for trading at Rs 222 on the BSE, rose 6.29% per cent after results were declared and closed at Rs 236.40.
Exide Industries Limited is an Indian company manufacturing storage batteries. The company's products comprise of three categories namely- automotive batteries, industrial batteries and submarine batteries. It has six manufacturing facilities located across India.
