Q4FY17 Results: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL)

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 on Wednesday.

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 1582.9 crore, which represents a 6.4 per cent sequential decline and 1.5 per cent YoY increase.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 539 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 34 per cent.

It reported PAT of Rs 1514 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 503.76 per cent and a YoY increase of 568.47 per cent.

The Board of Directors has recommended dividend of Rs. 2.5 per share for the face value of Rs. 1 each for FY16-17.

Today, the stock opened at Rs 496.3 and touched an intra-day high of Rs. 521.5 and closed at Rs. 516.05 on the BSE.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited is a media and entertainment company engaged in providing broadcasting services. The company operates through content and broadcasting segment. It offers content in multiple languages and offers approximately 38 international and over 30 domestic channels.
