Colgate-Palmolive(India) Ltd : Q4FY17 Results

Colgate Ltd reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 today. 

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 1037.52 crore, which represents a 18.55 per cent sequential increase and 2.12 per cent YoY increase.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 209.99 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 20.24%.

The company reported PAT of Rs 142.58 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 11.55 per cent and a YoY decline of 0.48 per cent.

The company's stock opened at Rs 428 on the BSE, rose 0.78 per cent after the results and is trading at Rs 428 intra-day.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited is a consumer product company The company's operations are spread across three verticals namely- oral care, personal care and home care. The oral care products manufactured by the company include toothpastes, tooth powders, mouthwashes, toothbrushes and whitening products. Its personal care products include body wash, liquid hand wash, skin care and hair care.
