NCC Q4FY17: net profit dips 26 per cent

NCC Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 today.

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 2139.42 crore, which represents a 12.39 per cent sequential increase and 12.75 per cent YoY decline.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 146.52 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 6.85 per cent.

The company reported PAT of Rs 63.7 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 9.32 per cent and a YoY decline of 26.12 per cent.

During FY17, the company's revenue decreased 5.2 per cent YoY to Rs 7892 crore and its EBITDA for the period dropped 7.1 per cent YoY to Rs. 685 crore. It reported net profit of Rs.226 crore, down by 6.1 per cent YoY.

The NCC stock remained under pressure ahead of the results. The stock plunged 4.6 per cent and closed at Rs 90.95 from previous close of Rs 95.3.
