NHPC signs agreement with BSES Yamuna Power
National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC) announced that it has signed an agreement with BSES Yamuna Power, as per a BSE filing on Wednesday.
This agreement is for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of seven power stations, namely, Bairasiul, Salal, Tanakpur, Chamera-I, Uri-I, Sewa-II and Chamera-III, said the company.
NHPC was trading flat at Rs 30.70, down by Rs 0.05 or 0.16% as at 0927 hours on Thursday, on the BSE, as against its previous close of Rs 30.75.
The company is engaged in electricity generation through hydroelectric power plants as well as contracts, project management, and consultancy works.
