Indraprastha Gas posts decent quarter
Indraprastha Gas reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 on Thursday.
Total sales for Q2FY18, came in at Rs. 1,245.5 crore. This represents a 7.3 per cent sequential increase and 16.3 per cent YoY increase.
Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 236.6 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 19 per cent.
The company reported PAT of Rs. 168.9 crore which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 4.72 per cent and a YoY increase of 17.1 per cent.
PNG domestic segment has shown a growth of 16 per cent on YoY basis. Whereas, the industrial and commercial segment has shown 19% YoY growth.
On Thursday, the stock of Indraprastha Gas opened at Rs. 318 per share and touched an intra-day low of Rs. 301.50 on the BSE.
