T&R gains 4 per cent post order win
Transformers and Rectifiers (T&R) India was buzzing on the bourses in the early trade on Monday after the company announced the receipt of order worth Rs. 127 crore.
The company has been awarded order for 15 units of transformer amounting to Rs. 127 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India, T&R said in a filing to the bourses on Friday. The company also added that with this order, its order book now stands at around Rs. 937 crore.
T&R India manufactures a range of transformers and has executed a number of orders in developed countries such as Canada and the United Kingdom.
At 10:13 hours, Transformers and Rectifiers India was trading at Rs. 34.00, up Rs 1.30, or 3.98 per cent on the NSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 33.90 and touched a high and low of Rs. 33.05 and 34.40, respectively. The share touched its 52-week high Rs. 47.59 and 52-week low Rs. 29.11 on April 13, 2017 and August 11, 2017, respectively. The stock attracted a traded volume of 3,52,399 shares on NSE on Monday.
