Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.02 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.01 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.55 per cent at 76,619 and the Nifty-50 down 0.47 per cent at 23,203. About 2,054 shares have advanced, 1,887 shares have declined and 124 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.02 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.01 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, SJVN Ltd and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are BLS International Services Ltd, NBCC (India) Ltd and Equinox India Developments Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Energy Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 17, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.29 lakh crore or USD 4.95 trillion. On the same day, 95 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 61 stocks touched a 52-week low.
