The INOXGFL Group has successfully emerged as the winning bidder for the IPP and O&M businesses of Wind World India through an NCLT-approved resolution process. Under this strategic acquisition, Inox Clean Energy Limited, via its subsidiary Inox Neo, will take over a 600 MW operational wind IPP portfolio spread across seven resource-rich states, including Maharashtra and Gujarat. Simultaneously, Inox Green Energy Services Limited will acquire Wind World’s massive 4.5 GW operations and maintenance arm, which services marquee clients like the Tata Group, ReNew and Greenko.

This transaction significantly bolsters the Group’s renewable energy footprint and execution scale. For Inox Clean, the acquisition provides an immediate boost to its operational capacity as it pursues an ambitious target of reaching 10 GW of installed IPP capacity and 11 GW of integrated solar manufacturing by FY28. The addition of the 600 MW portfolio provides high-quality assets in key wind corridors, enhancing the company’s revenue streams and geographic diversification across India's most critical energy hubs.

For Inox Green, the acquisition of a 4.5 GW O&M business propels the company further toward becoming India’s largest renewable O&M provider. With its existing management of approximately 13.3 GWp in assets, this integration expands its portfolio to nearly 18 GW, reinforcing its position as the only listed pure-play renewable O&M service provider in the country. The move leverages the synergistic relationship within the INOXGFL Group to ensure long-term, reliable cash flows through established service contracts with major industrial and utility players.
