Steel Strips Wheels bags order from Europe

Steel Strips Wheels Limited (SSWL) has secured another big export order for supply of Steel wheels to the EU Caravan market.  The order comprises of around 41,000 Steel wheels to be shipped from the company’s Chennai plant from the next month onwards.

 The company is expected to close some more export orders with other European customers in the recent future.  This repeat order makes the company a leading supplier of Caravan Steel wheels market in the European region.
  
SSWL is involved in design and manufacture of automotive wheels.  The company is a leading supplier to domestic and international automobile manufacturer.  The company enjoys the position of market leader in steel wheel segment.  It enjoys a health market share in various segment such as OTR (Back Hoe Loader) 70 per cent, Commercial Vehicle (MHCV) 52 per cent, Passenger Car 50 per cent and Tractor 44 per cent.  The company’s revenue mix for 9MFY18 comprises of Car/MUV 57 per cent, 2-3 wheelers 23 per cent, Truck 11 per cent and Tractor 9 per cent.
  
On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 1,204.95 and touched an intra-day high of Rs. 1,231, on the BSE.
