Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 18

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 394 lakh crore or USD 4.72 trillion as of April 18, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading negative on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.62 per cent at 72,489, and the Nifty-50 down 0.69 per cent at 21,996. About 1,907 shares have advanced, 1,891 have declined and 131 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,768.40 on April 09, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.39 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.06 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were JSW Energy Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Moschip Technologies Ltd, Likhitha Infrastructure Ltd and Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Bankex Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 394 lakh crore or USD 4.72 trillion as of April 18, 2024. On the same day, 211 stocks hit a 52-week high while 11 stocks touched a 52-week low.
