Adani Total Gas surged 8.86 per cent to Rs 652.90, registering the sharpest intraday gain among the group stocks.

Adani Group stocks attracted investor attention on May 5 following reports that representatives of Gautam Adani and his companies held discussions with officials from former US President Donald Trump’s administration, aiming to have criminal charges against him dropped.

Discussions that started earlier this year have reportedly accelerated in recent weeks and may lead to a resolution within the next month. Back in November, US authorities filed charges against Gautam Adani and his nephew, Sagar Adani, accusing them of offering bribes to win power supply contracts in India and of misleading American investors during fundraising efforts.

Adani’s legal team is reportedly arguing that the case does not align with the policy focus of Donald Trump and should be reassessed. Towards the end of last month, Adani Green stated that an internal review of the US indictment revealed no signs of wrongdoing or violations.

On Monday, May 05, 2025, at 11:30 am, shares of flagship Adani firm Adani Enterprises rose 5.7 per cent on NSE to trade at Rs 2,425 apiece. The firm’s market capitalisation saw a notable jump as investor sentiment remained strong across Adani Group stocks.

Shares of Adani Energy Solutions and Adani Power climbed 4.06 per cent and 6.24 per cent, respectively, to trade at Rs 944 and Rs 557.95 apiece.

Adani Total Gas surged 8.86 per cent to Rs 652.90, registering the sharpest intraday gain among the group stocks. Adani Wilmar edged up 1.67 per cent to Rs 273.40 per share.
