Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority raised Rs.2000 crores on BSE BOND platform.

On August 14, 2018, Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (“APCRDA”) successfully raised Rs. 2000 crores by issuing bonds on private placement basis using BSE BOND platform.

 

On July 1 2016 BSE had launched the platform for Electronic Book Mechanism “BSE BOND” for issuance of debt securities on private placement basis.

 

Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh said “Amaravati Bond 2018 has created history by over subscription raising Rs 2000 Cr and is the testimony of investors’ confidence in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Amaravati. This will help in developing Amaravati as smart, sustainable and happy city and as a global destination of people, jobs and investments.”

 

On Thursday the shares of BSE closed at Rs. 757.80, down by 1.83 per cent. The BSE Sensex closed at 37,663.56 level, down by 0.50 per cent.
