Blue Star Ltd, the leading provider of air conditioning & commercial refrigeration products, announced the launch of its new range of split air conditioners.

The company has launched this range, keeping in mind, the requirements of the mass category and intends to expand its market reach in this category through this launch.

The company, well known for its promises of quality, durability & reliability, said that the value proposition of this new range is “affordable cooling with Blue Star’s high-quality ACs.” The new range includes 3-star, 4-star and 5-star inverter split air conditioners with prices starting at Rs 25,990 for a 0.80TR 3-star inverter split AC. The cooling capacity of the proposed air conditioners ranges from 0.80TR to 2TR. The new range comprises of various features and specifications such as ‘eco mode’ for energy saving, ‘Blue Fin’ coating for both IDUs & ODUs for longer life, ‘comfort sleep’ function that adjusts the AC temperature during night for power saving and better comfort as well as ‘self-diagnosis’ feature for troubleshooting to protect the AC from any critical failure.

An additional feature of metal enclosure for the printed circuit boards (PCBs) is included for extra protection. An important feature of Blue Star’s inverter ACs is the wide operating voltage range, which eliminates the need for an external voltage stabiliser. This results in saving on the cost and space taken by a stabiliser.

On Wednesday, at 12.51 pm, the share price of Blue Star stood at Rs 870.25 on BSE, which was a decrease of 2.91 per cent over its previous close of Rs 896.30.
