BSE Information Technology: These small-cap stocks were the top sectoral gainers on October 10

Here are the top IT stocks that rallied more than 10 per cent in today’s session.

Defying market weakness, the IT sector gained strength in today’s session with BSE IT closing at 28444.19 up 0.9 per cent, while the frontline index Sensex closed at 579991.11 with a loss of 0.3 per cent. 

Brightcom Group and Black Box witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

Shares of Brightcom Group Ltd zoomed 13.51 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs. 41.60. In the intra-day trades the stock hit a high and low of Rs 42.55 and 36.35. This ad-tech stock has corrected significantly in the past few months, shedding 66 per cent in the last six months. The company focuses on ad-tech, New Media and IoT-based businesses across the globe, primarily in the digital eco-system. 

Another constituent of BSE IT that rallied was Black Box gaining 12.06 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 159.30. Intraday high and low registered by the shares of this smallcap IT company were at Rs 166.05 and Rs 141.05, respectively.
