Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on February 22

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline equity indices declined for the fourth day in a row. The 30-share index, Sensex lost by 1.53 per cent or 927.74 points and closed at 59,744.98 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,554.30 falling by 1.53 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd and EKI Energy Services Ltd.  

Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd zoomed 14.77 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 34.20 over its previous close of Rs 29.80. Today, the intraday high and low of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd were Rs 35.00 and Rs 29.70, respectively.  

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd, gaining 12.94 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 40.15. Today, the intraday high and low of Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd was Rs 42 and Rs 34.50, respectively. 

EKI Energy Services Ltd also rallied 9.75 per cent and closed near its upper circuit for the fourth day in a row at Rs 830.80 over its previous close of Rs 757. Today, the intraday high and low of EKI Energy Services Ltd were Rs 832.70 and Rs 709.90, respectively.
