The conversations of central banks have dominated the headlines in the last one year and recently, it is once again on the front page. With the global central bank, which is the US Federal Reserve that matters to equity markets at large and the Indian central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releasing meeting minutes without sounding particularly dovish, the question remains whether risk assets have a problem at hand.

The price action suggests, there is a serious problem the bulls have to deal. The bulls have witnessed a heavy week where they have been pretty much on the back-foot with the Nifty losing more than 600 points and Bank Nifty plummeted more than 2000 points from its February 16 swing high.

Amidst all this chaos, there is stock which would soothe the jittery nerves, the stock name is Sanofi India as it has recommended a Final & Special Dividend. Final dividend of Rs 194 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10 each and a special dividend of Rs 183 per equity share of the face of 10 each for the financial year ended December 31, 2022.

The company had earlier paid one-time special interim dividend of Rs 193 per equity share on August 22, 2022. The total dividend for the financial year 2022, including the proposed final dividend, one-time special interim dividend and second special dividend, amounts to Rs 570 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each. The dividend, if approved by the shareholders will be paid on or after May 22, 2023.

The stock witnessed a gap-up opening on Friday and it is currently trading up by 3.5 per cent on NSE.
