Heranba Industries receives consent to establish manufacturing plant

The company announced on Monday that it has received the consent to establish (CTE) manufacturing of pesticides, intermediates, fungicides, herbicides & insecticides from Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).  

The company has received the necessary permission to expand its manufacturing facilities for the said products at its plot located in Saykha Industrial Estate, Bharuch. Heranba Industries has around 34,000 square metre of land parcel available at Saykha, which it would be using to manufacture the products.   

The company has already received the environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) Government of India for setting up a unit with a capacity of 10,680 TPA at its site.   

Heranba is one of the leading agrochemical companies in India. The company focusses on improving crop productivity and public health. It manufactures synthetic pyrethroids as well as its intermediates in India. With four manufacturing facilities across India and around 650 employees, it has a wide network of businesses in India and abroad.   

On Monday, the shares of the company declined 3.31 per cent and closed at a price of Rs 625.00.
