Market is trading in red, but these 3 small-cap stocks gained over 5 per cent!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened on Wednesday at 3,770.48 and made its day high at 3,781.32, and it is currently trading in red with a downside move by more than 0.70 per cent.   

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 5 per cent today.    

Shares of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Limited were trading up by more than 8 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Tuesday at Rs 1,197.90 and opened on Wednesday at Rs 1,205 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 1,315 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 2,270.95, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 1,051. Presently, the promoters are holding a 74.25 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 12.60 per cent and 13.15 per cent, respectively.    

Another top player today is TCNS Clothing Co Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 7 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 470 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 499.15. The 52-week high of TCNS Clothing co. Limited is at Rs 876.45, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 431.60. The promoters are holding around 32.21 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 21.34 per cent and 46.45 per cent, respectively.    

One more top gainer today which shot up by 6 per cent is ITI Limited. The stock opened at Rs 100 and touched its day high at Rs 105.85. On Tuesday, the shares closed at Rs 97 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 129.50, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 80.35. Currently, the promoters are holding about 90.17 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 7.78 per cent and 2.03 per cent, respectively.
