Metal and capital goods stocks were buzzing on bourses with buying activity

On Wednesday, Indian equity markets closed with positive developments for the second day in a row. Nifty and Sensex closed with decent gains of ~0.63 per cent each. Metal and capital goods stocks were buzzing on bourses.

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, January 19, 2023:   

Luharka Media & Infra - A solid price volume break-out was seen in the counter today. The stock rallied more than 9 per cent to record a fresh 52-week high of Rs 6 per share on BSE. Incorporated in 1981, the company is a non-banking non-deposit finance company (NBFC) engaged in financial sector and provides various types of loans.

Fone4 Communications (India) - Only buyers were seen in the counter as the scrip locked at a 10 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 8.19 per share on BSE. The stock has gained more than 45 per cent in the last 5 trading sessions. The company is south India’s leading multi-brand retail chain dealing in international & Indian brands of mobile handsets, accessories and electronics items.
