Nifty50 closed at 17,552.60, down by 1.53 per cent, while mid-cap and small-cap indices also performed negatively on broader markets

On Wednesday, Indian equity markets ended on a negative note. Nifty50 closed at 17,552.60, down by 1.53 per cent, while Mid-Cap and Small-Cap indices also performed negatively on broader markets.  

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, February 23, 2023:     

Visesh Infotech- Heavy buying interest was witnessed in the counter as the scrip surged more than 11 per cent, recording an intraday high of Rs 0.50 per share on NSE. Established in 1989 as an ERP software products company, today the company is a mature and fast-growing company committed to providing reliable and cost-effective I.T. solutions to organizations globally.  

Ujaas Energy- A solid price volume break-out was seen at the counter today as the stock got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to hit an intra-day high of Rs 2.10 per share on NSE. Ujaas Energy is engaged in generation of solar power and manufacturing, sales and services of solar power plants/projects and manufacturing and sales of electric vehicle.   

Arshiya - A solid price volume break-out was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 5.25 per share. Arshiya businesses comprises of logistics, free trade and warehousing zone (FTWZ), rail & rail infrastructure, private freight terminal, industrial and distribution hubs, inland container depot (ICD), domestic warehousing.
