Nifty50 closed at 18,264.40, while both mid-cap index and small-cap index performed positively on broader markets

On Monday, Indian equity markets ended on a positive note. Nifty50 closed at 18,264.40, while both Mid-Cap index and Small-Cap index performed positively on broader markets.   

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, May 09, 2023:     

Gayatri Highways- Heavy buying interest was witnessed in the counter as the scrip surged 8.33 per cent, recording an intraday high of Rs 16.75 per share on NSE. Gayatri Highways Ltd is in the business of construction and investment.  

Kritika Wires- Heavy buying interest was witnessed in the counter as the scrip surged 9.91 per cent, recording an intraday high of Rs 12.56 per share on NSE. Kritika Wires Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of all types of steel wire and galvanised wire to cater to the needs of the State Electricity Boards, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, etc.  

TGB Banquets & Hotels- A solid price volume break-out was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied 9.95 per cent to record an intraday high of Rs 10.50 per share. TGB Banquets and Hotels Ltd is into provision of restaurants, banquets and hotel services.
