On Friday, Indian equity markets closed on a positive note. Nifty50 closed at 18,314.80, while both Mid-Cap index and Small-Cap index performed negatively on broader markets.

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, May 15, 2023:   

Patel Engineering- Heavy buying interest was witnessed in the counter as the scrip surged 10 per cent, recording an intraday high of Rs 26.75 per share on NSE. Patel Engineering Ltd is engaged in the construction of dams, bridges, tunnels, roads, piling works, industrial structures and other kinds of heavy civil engineering works in areas like hydro, irrigation & water supply, urban infrastructure and transport.

Bartronics India- The stock experienced significant buying activity, resulting in 4.40 per cent surge and reaching an intraday high of Rs 8.30 per share on NSE. Bartronics India Ltd. is engaged in providing solutions based on Bar Coding, Biometrics, RFID, POS, EAS and Smart Cards etc.

Godha Cabcon and Insulation - A solid price volume break-out was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied 9.09 per cent to record an intraday high of Rs 1.2 per share. Incorporated in 2007, Godha Cabcon & Insulation Ltd is a manufacturer of conductors and wires.
