In the realm of sectoral indices, the leaders in terms of gains were Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Metal, and Nifty Realty, whereas Nifty FMCG and Nifty Media emerged as top performers. Delving into individual stocks within the Nifty 50, notable gainers encompassed UPL, Hindalco, and ONGC, whereas Asian Paints, ITC, and Coal India grappled with losses.

In summary, the prevailing sentiment in the market appears positive, with approximately 1459 stocks advancing, surpassing the 554 stocks in decline, thereby signaling a favorable trend in the broader market.

Tirupati Forge - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 10.70 per share on NSE. The company manufactures mass quantity carbon steel forged flanges, forged components and other automotive components.

Ankit Metal & Power - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 4.45 per share on NSE.
