The BSE Sensex declined 0.15 per cent to 71,645 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.13 per cent to a level of 21,697. The broader indices witnessed a more substantial decline in comparison to the main indices.

Swasti Vinayaka Synthetics Ltd: The trading volume of shares experienced a ninefold surge, surging by nearly 20 per cent to reach a 52-week high of Rs 10 per share on the BSE. The company specializes in the production of high-end cotton, cotton-blended, and linen designer shirting, selling its products directly to retail chains, garment exporters, and corporate houses.

FCS Software Solutions Ltd: Shares attracted significant buying interest, hitting the 10 per cent upper circuit and reaching a 52-week high of Rs 5.84 per share on the BSE. The company operates in the IT sector, offering services in IT consulting, IT infrastructure management, IT-enabled services, and learning solutions.

Innocorp Ltd: The shares surged over 8 per cent, reaching an intraday high of Rs 6.50 per share on the BSE. The company specializes in the manufacturing of injection-moulded plastic products for household, kitchenware, and industrial applications. Additionally, it serves as a contract manufacturer for Tupperware, engaging in the injection moulding of plastics and processing various grades.
