Watch out for these stocks in Friday’s trading session!

The top gainers were Divi's Laboratories, Coal India, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank and ONGC while the top losers were Asian Paints, Infosys, Eicher Motors, Cipla and Sun Pharmaceuticals.  

PSU Bank is the standout performer, rising more than 3 per cent on the NSE because of the strong interest rates in PSU Banks.

The benchmark indices i.e. NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex 30 managed to recover from their early gap-down openings and closed in green. Nifty jumped 0.30 per cent while Sensex gained nearly 100 points.

Omkar Speciality Chemicals, Fervent Synergies, and DC Infotech & Communication were the top low-priced gainers on BSE that got locked at their respective 20 per cent upper circuits. 

The rupee hits a fresh record low against the dollar and is above the 83-mark.  

At noon on Monday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 are trading marginally higher amidst extreme volatility & recession fears. 

On the other hand, Asia Pacific markets are seen giving mixed signals with Japan’s Nikkei 225 trading lower by 1.16 per cent while Shanghai climbing 0.29 per cent. 

Indices closed at the day’s high after strong positive sentiment led Nifty to close above 17,200 level. The benchmark index surged 2.29 per cent while Sensex climbed 1,278 points.

As per NSE circular dated September 30, a total of 37 stocks will see changes in their F&O lot sizes due to the relevant price movements.  

At market close on Friday, the markets ended the session on a flat note, owing to mixed global cues.  

At the day’s end, Sensex settled at 58,803.33, up by 36.74 points or 0.06 per cent whereas Nifty 50 closed at 17,539.45, down by 3.35 points or 0.02 per cent.
