Bank of New Zealand has increased its lending rate by 50 basis points to 3 per cent in order to curb inflation.

The shares of company surged over 630 per cent in just six months, thanks to months of back-to-back upper circuits.

Regarding sectoral performance, Auto and Realty are the top gainers, while Metal remains the top loser.
