On Thursday, Alembic Pharmaceuticals announced that it has received final approval from United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for Desipramine Hydrochloride tablets USP, 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg & 150 mg.  

The shares of Brightcom Group Limited hit 5 per cent upper circuit on Thursday after the company announced that it has signed a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire a digital marketing services company based out of India.  

The following stocks will be in focus during Friday's trading session in light of their Q1FY22 results announcements: Delta Corporation, K&R Rail Engineering, Mapro Industries, Valencia Nutrition, Suryavanshi Spinning Mills, Metalyst Forgings, Integrated Capital Services, and Excel Realty N Infra. 

IndusInd Bank announced that it has partnered with TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha to launch a fully digital network for facilitating electricity bill payment across the state.   

On the options’ front, 15,800 Call has seen massive addition of open interest of over 75 lakh shares while 15,800 Put witnessed the unwinding of nearly 18 lakh shares. The 15,700 Call option also saw the addition of 27 lakh shares. Meanwhile, Max Pain stood at 15,800 level.

Ducon Infratechnologies Limited has informed the bourses that in a reverse auction conducted for flue gas desulphurisation system (FGD) package for Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Station, Stage – II (2 x 195 MW), Kanti, Bihar by NTPC Limited, where Ducon’s proven wet limestone FGD technology would be deployed, its partner EPC organisation has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1). 

PNB Housing has hit the upper limit of the day as PNB told its subsidiary, PNB Housing Finance to reconsider its contentious Rs 4,000 crore deal with Carlyle Group and carve out an alternate capital raising plan that is compliant with the rules of SEBI.   

Banking stocks will be in focus today along with Bajaj Healthcare, Kohinoor Foods, Kalyan Jewellers. 

The broader market indices relatively outperformed the frontline indices as Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 added 0.66 per cent and 0.62 per cent, respectively. The stock-specific action is likely to continue on D-Street.
