Watch out for these stocks in Wednesday’s trading session!

Larsen & Toubro was one of the top-performing stocks in today’s market and these gains have been witnessed on a day when there was bloodshed on D-Street.  

Witnessing a broad-based rally, domestic markets faded the morning losses and ended sharply higher on Wednesday. At the close, the Sensex was up 547.83 points or 0.99 per cent at the 55,816.32 level, and the Nifty was up 158.00 points or 0.96 per cent at the 16,641.80 level. 

At 2 pm on Friday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 recovered the losses from the last trading session and were trading higher by 2.50 per cent each.    

On Monday, Indian markets opened in red due to mixed Asian market cues as investors continued to be cautious around the Ukraine crisis and internalize US jobs data and central bank moves in the region.

Interestingly, it was the IT sector again that provided the much-needed support to the index and this was quite evident from the fact that among the top three contributors, two were from the IT sector namely, Infosys & TCS.
