Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of May 26, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 445 lakh crore or USD 5.24 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.56 per cent at 82,176 and the Nifty-50 up 0.60 per cent at 25,001. About 2,301 shares have advanced, 1,772 shares have declined and 194 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.50 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.45 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Gillette India Ltd and Solar Industries India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were BEML Ltd, Camlin Fine Sciences Ltd and Godavari Biorefineries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Services Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Losers.

As of May 26, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 445 lakh crore or USD 5.24 trillion. On the same day, 107 stocks hit a 52-week high while 42 stocks touched a 52-week low.
