Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of May 29 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 446 lakh crore or USD 5.21 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.39 per cent at 81,633 and the Nifty-50 up 0.33 per cent at 24,834. About 2,020 shares have advanced, 1,957 shares have declined and 134 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.48 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.39 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Cummins India Ltd, Castrol India Ltd and Deepak Nitrite Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were John Cockerill India Ltd, Filatex India Ltd and DEE Development Engineers Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of May 29 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 446 lakh crore or USD 5.21 trillion. On the same day, 92 stocks hit a 52-week high while 29 stocks touched a 52-week low.
