Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 1 per cent at 81,692 and the Nifty-50 down 1.01 per cent at 24,888. About 1,282 shares have advanced, 2,729 shares have declined and 140 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.52 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.38 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Ajanta Pharma Ltd, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Advait Energy Transitions Ltd, Expleo Solutions Ltd and Sterlite Technologies Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the red with the BSE Utilities Index, BSE Consumer Durables Index, BSE Oil & Gas Index, BSE Realty Index and BSE Power Index surging over 2 per cent each.
As of June 12, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 450 lakh crore or USD 5.25 trillion. On the same day, 97 stocks hit a 52-week high while 34 stocks touched a 52-week low.
