Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 02

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 396 lakh crore or USD 4.75 trillion as of April 02, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading negative on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.15 per cent at 73,904, and the Nifty-50 down 0.04 per cent at 22,453. About 2,848 shares have advanced, 1,004 have declined and 107 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,254.62 on April 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,529.95 on April 01, 2024.

The broader markets were in green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.14 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.28 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Best Agrolife Ltd, EKI Energy Ltd and Sigachi Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 396 lakh crore or USD 4.75 trillion as of April 02, 2024. On the same day, 174 stocks hit a 52-week high while 20 stocks touched a 52-week low.
