Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on March 01

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 392 lakh crore or USD 4.78 trillion as of March 01, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Friday with the Sensex up 1.72 per cent at 73,745 and the Nifty-50 up 1.62 per cent at 22,339. About 2,387 shares have advanced, 1,451 have declined and 109 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,819.21 on March 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,353.30 on March 01, 2024.

The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.89 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.68 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Steel Authority of India Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Rico Auto Industries Ltd, ADF Foods Ltd and Kalyani Steels Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Bankex Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Healthcare Index were the only losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 392 lakh crore or USD 4.78 trillion as of March 01, 2024. On the same day, 242 stocks hit a 52-week high while 3 stocks touched a 52-week low.
