Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on March 04

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 394 lakh crore or USD 4.75 trillion as of March 04, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Monday with the Sensex up 0.09 per cent at 73,872 and the Nifty-50 up 0.12 per cent at 22,406. About 1,426 shares have advanced, 2,525 have declined and 134 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,994.70 on March 02, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,440.90 on March 04, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.16 per cent while the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.78 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Solar Industries India Ltd and Tata Communications Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are T D Power Systems Ltd, SMS Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Shalimar Paints Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the only losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 394 lakh crore or USD 4.75 trillion as of March 04, 2024. On the same day, 311 stocks hit a 52-week high while 35 stocks touched a 52-week low.
