Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 01!

Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills, RRIL Ltd and Inducto Steel were the top low-priced gainers on the BSE, that locked at 20 per cent upper circuits.

The optimism in Asian markets helped Indian benchmark indices open higher on Tuesday after the Sensex and Nifty 50, respectively, reclaimed 60,000 and 18,000, the crucial milestones in the previous trading session. 

At 12:35 pm, the BSE Sensex gained 0.57 per cent, reaching a level of 61,091. The Nifty 50 index advanced 0.61 per cent to the 18,121 level. On the Sensex, NTPC Ltd, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Power Grid Corporation of India were the Top Gainers, whereas Axis Bank, Reliance Industries and Maruti Suzuki were the Top Losers

With the exception of BSE Energy and BSE Auto, all sectors were trading higher. Divi's Laboratories and Medicamen Biotech, with rises of around 5 per cent each, led the BSE Healthcare sector's gains. 

Shares of Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd (ASAL) surged over 12 per cent, making it the top BSE Smallcap gainer. Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills, RRIL Ltd and Inducto Steel were the top low-priced gainers on the BSE, that locked at 20 per cent upper circuits. 

According to the commerce ministry, India's eight core sectors expanded 7.9 per cent in September, picking up speed from an upwardly revised 4.1 per cent in August. Today, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will launch a pilot program for a central-bank-backed digital rupee for the wholesale segment.
