Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 11!

Shares of Muthoot Capital Services soared over 17 per cent with a spurt in volume, making it the top BSE Smallcap gainer.

The US consumer price index significantly dropped in October and the month's inflation rate was the lowest since January. The Wall Street indices skyrocketed on their strongest day in almost two and a half years, boosting optimism in global markets.   

With all of the major Asian indices surging, the Indian benchmark indices also roared into the session, boosted by more than 3 per cent gains in the BSE IT and BSE Teck sectors. In line with the optimistic mood in domestic markets, the rupee sharply strengthened by 64 paise against the US dollar.  

A significant amount of stock buying was observed in the BSE Realty, BSE Metals and BSE Financial Services sectors, which all enjoyed gains of over 2 per cent each. Shares of Muthoot Capital Services soared over 17 per cent with a spurt in volume, making it the top BSE Smallcap gainer.   

The Sensex rally was boosted by the HDFC Twins, as HDFC Bank and HDFC both surged over 6 per cent. At 12:50 pm, the BSE Sensex surged 1.85 per cent, reaching a level of 61,737. The Nifty 50 index gained 1.75 per cent to the 18,343 level. On the Sensex, HDFC Bank, HDFC and Infosys were the Top Gainers, whereas NTPC Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and State Bank of India were the Top Losers.
