Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 19

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,21,06,625 crore or approx. Rs 321 lakh crore as of October 19, 2023.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices ended the trading session on Thursday in negative territory, with the Sensex down 0.38 per cent at 65,629.24 and the Nifty down 0.24 per cent at 19,625. About 1,861 shares have advanced, 1,832 have declined and 139 were unchanged on BSE.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.08 per cent and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.07 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea Ltd and REC Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd, Rushil Decor Ltd and NBCC (India) Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Auto Index being one of the top gainers while the BSE Metals Index being one of the top losers.

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,21,06,625 crore or approx. Rs 321 lakh crore as of October 19, 2023. On the same day, 288 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 27 stocks touched a 52-week low.
