Shares of this small-cap hotel company surged today on inking new property

The company is India's largest mid-priced hotel chain and third-largest overall hotel chain.

Lemon Tree Hotels has partnered with Lemon Tree Premier, Lucknow, which is positioned in Gomti Nagar, one of the city's fastest-growing neighbourhoods. The property will be operated by Carnation Hotels, a fully owned subsidiary and Lemon Tree Hotels' management division, after it becomes operational in August 2026. 

While Lucknow is renowned for its turbulent past, delectable cuisine, and exquisite manners of its residents, the property is situated in one of the city's largest and most promising neighbourhoods, Gomti Nagar. High-end, luxury residential developments, shopping malls, IT parks, office buildings, SEZs, plots, universities, business centres, multiplexes, clubs, banks, food courts, entertainment venues, and financial institutions are all strewn throughout the area. 

The scrip opened today at Rs 95 and touched the day high and low of Rs 96.98 and Rs 94.13, respectively. Its 52-week high stood at Rs 103.30, whereas its 52-week low was Rs 52.20. The current market cap of the company is Rs 7,644.39 crore. Promoters hold 23.62 per cent, whereas the Institutional and non-institutional holdings are 35.11 per cent and 41.28 per cent, respectively.
