Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on April 19

The scrip of AU Small Finance Bank is up by almost 6 per cent as the company is expected to announce bonus shares whereas Apollo Hospitals is a top gainer in the mid-cap space and is up by 5.48 per cent.

At 11 am, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat amidst mixed global cues. The Asian markets plunged due to a fall in the technology stocks as well as the surge in COVID-19 cases.  

The crude oil price has increased and is trading at $108 per barrel as the US dollar appreciates against the rupee by 0.29 per cent.       

Sensex was at 57,090.14, down by 76.60 points or 0.13 per cent while Nifty was at 17,175.45, up by 2 points or 0.01 per cent from the last trading session.                   

On BSE, 2,112 shares have advanced, 1,098 shares declined whereas 127 shares are unchanged.               

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Apollo Hospital Enterprise, Coal India, Reliance Industries, Eicher Motors, and BPCL. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HDFC, HDFC Bank, Infosys, HDFC Life Insurance Company, and SBI Life Insurance Company. 

The scrip of AU Small Finance Bank is up by almost 6 per cent as the company is expected to announce bonus shares whereas Apollo Hospitals is a top gainer in the Mid-Cap space and is up by 5.48 per cent.       

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,472.00, up by 0.99 per cent. The top five gainers are Mangalore Refinery Petrochemicals (up by 15.78 per cent), Sunflag Iron & Steel, Vardhaman Steels, PTL Enterprises, and Time Technoplast (up by 9.43 per cent). Similarly, the Top Losers include INEOS Styrolution India, Arman Financial Services, Steel Exchange India, Asian Granito, and Tata Teleservices.     

Sector-wise speaking, only BSE IT and Teck, BSE Telecom & BSE Finance were dragging whereas BSE Energy, BSE Metal, BSE Oil & Gas, were up by more than 1 per cent each.
