Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on April 29

Nasdaq index, which is tech-heavy rose up to 3 per cent on Thursday due to positive earnings updates from major tech companies like Amazon and Apple.The crude oil price is up and is trading at $106.7 per barrel while the US Bond yields are lower at 2.85 per cent.

At noon on Friday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally on the higher side.  

Nasdaq index, which is tech-heavy rose up to 3 per cent on Thursday due to positive earnings updates from major tech companies like Amazon and Apple.  

The crude oil price is up and is trading at $106.7 per barrel while the US Bond yields are lower at 2.85 per cent.    

Sensex was at 57,907.07, up by 386.01 points or 0.67 per cent while Nifty was at 17,350.90, up by 105.85 points or 0.61 per cent from the last trading session.            

On BSE, 1,826 shares have advanced, 1,365 shares declined whereas 124 shares are unchanged.             

The only gainers in Nifty 50 pack are HDFC Life Insurance Company, Sun Pharmaceutical, Tata Consumer Products, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, and HDFC Bank. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Axis Bank, SBI Life Insurance Company, Wipro, Power Grid Corporation of India, and Adani Ports & SEZ.   

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 28,899.10, up by 0.42 per cent. The Top Gainers in the pack were HBL Power Systems, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, Varroc Engineering, Pix Transmission, TARC. Each of these stocks has gained more than 8 per cent. Similarly, the Top Losers include Camlin Fine Sciences, Zee Learn, Yaari Digital, Future Consumer, and Future Lifestyle Fashions. 

Sector-wise, all the indices were in the green as BSE Realty and BSE Finance are leading the broader indices whereas BSE Energy, BSE Capital Goods, and BSE Oil & Gas were dragging the indices down.
