Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on April 5

At 11.15 am on Monday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex as well as Nifty 50 were trading flat owing to mixed global cues, and a rise in crude oil price. Crude oil is trading at $108.7 per barrel and is up by 1.12 per cent.

Also, the US markets are trading higher due to overnight trading while the rally led by technology stocks and the Asian markets are also trading flat.    

Sensex was at 60,366.85, down by 244.89 points or 0.40 per cent while Nifty was at 18,002.15, down by 51.25 points or 0.28 per cent from the last trading session.             

On BSE, 2,305 shares have advanced, 909 shares declined, whereas 138 shares are unchanged.         

The top five gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, UPL, and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HDFC Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, and Reliance Industries.   

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,582.24, up by 1.37 per cent. The top five gainers are Dilip Buildcon, Unichem Labs, Zuari Agro Chemicals, IOL Chemicals, and Kaya. Each of these stocks gained more than 15 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include Swelect Energy, Tourism Finance Corporation of India, Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers, HSIL, and Ratnamani Metals & Tubes.  

Sector-wise on BSE, only BSE Finance, BSE Private Bank, and BSE Realty sectors are somewhat bearish. On the flip side, BSE Telecom, BSE Utilities, BSE Consumer Durables, and BSE Power are up by almost 2 per cent each.
