Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on July 5

The US Stock futures rose early on Tuesday morning after the major averages finished another losing week. Investors are now looking ahead to the release of June jobs report data on Friday. 

Around noon on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher, owing to a positive outlook about the macro-economic factors.  

Sensex was at 52,559.29, up by 459.65 points or 0.87 per cent while Nifty 50 was at 15,640.45, down by 139.80 points or 0.91 per cent.  

The US Stock futures rose early on Tuesday morning after the major averages finished another losing week. Investors are now looking ahead to the release of June jobs report data on Friday. 

Shares in the Asia-Pacific rose on Tuesday as Reserve Bank of Australia hiked interest rates in line with expectations.  

Nikkei 225 in Japan gained 0.67 per cent whereas Mainland China markets were lower despite positive data on the manufacturing front. Shanghai Composite fell by 0.19 per cent while Shenzhen Component slipped 0.7 per cent.  

The crude oil price is trading higher at $110.18 per barrel whereas the 10-year US Treasury yield dipped and was trading at 2.94 per cent.  

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Hindalco Industries, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, and DR Reddy’s Laboratories.The Top Losers pulling down the index include Britannia Industries, ITC, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Hero MotoCorp, and IndusInd Bank.  

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 24,675.35, up by 0.45 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were PTC India Financial Services (20 per cent), Marksans Pharma (15.6 per cent), Elgi Equipment, Orient Bell, (10 per cent), and PSP Projects. Each of these stocks has gained more than 10 per cent. Similarly, the top losers include Techno Electric Engineering, Yaari Digital, McLeod Russel India, Arman Financial Services, and Jubilant Industries.   

All the sectors were trading in the green with BSE Metal, power, capital goods, and utilities, trading higher than all.
