Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on March 10

At 11.45 am on Thursday, the core equity indices Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher amidst stronger global cues along with assembly election results declaration in India.

      

At 11.45 am on Thursday, the core equity indices Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher amidst stronger global cues along with assembly election results declaration in India.  

 The Sensex was at 55,911.93 up by 1,264.60 points or 2.31 per cent, while Nifty was at 16,965.69, up by 379.36 points or 2.29 per cent from the last trading session.            

On the BSE, 2,771 shares have advanced, 460 shares declined, whereas 96 shares are unchanged.           

The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Tata Motors, Hindustan Unilever, IndusInd Bank, Grasim India, and Bajaj Finserv. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Coal India, ONGC, Hindalco Industries,Tech Mahindra, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 27,166.86, up by 1.88 per cent. The top five gainers are Take Solutions, IOL chemicals, EPL Global, Nureca, and Swan Energy. Each of these stocks gained more than 15 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include COFORGE, Future Enterprises DVR, Vadilal Industries, TeamLease Services, and KEI Industries. 

Most of the sectoral indices on the BSE were trading in the green with BSE Realty, BSE Finance, BSE Private Bank, BSE Auto being up by more than 3 per cent. Only BSE Metal was trading in the red and was down by 0.34 per cent.

 Following is the list of low-priced stocks that were locked in the upper circuit on Thursday. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.
