Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on March 24

At noon on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading on the lower side, as the US markets fell on Wednesday by more than 1 per cent. The gold prices rose by 3 per cent, whereas crude oil was trading at USD 121.9 per barrel, up by 0.25 per cent.

The Sensex was at 57,577.44 down by 134.15 points or 0.23 per cent, while Nifty was at 17,208.20 down by 37.45 points or 0.22 per cent from the last trading session.            

On the BSE, 1,526 shares have advanced, 1,725 shares declined, whereas 116 shares are unchanged.        

The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Hindalco Industries, Coal India, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Titan Company, Eicher Motors, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. 

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 27,881.27, up by 0.32 per cent. The top five gainers are Ahluwalia, Future Supply, Future Lifestyle and Fashions, JTL Infrastructure, and ZEE Learn. Each of these stocks gained more than 10 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include MM forgings, SREI Infrastructure, NIIT, KBC Global, and Urja Global.

Looking at the sectoral indices on the BSE, BSE Finance, BSE Consumer Durables, and BSE Auto are dragging the broader index. On the other hand, BSE Healthcare, BSE Metal and BSE IT, BSE Oil& Gas were leading the index on the higher side. 

 Following is the list of low-priced stocks that made a fresh 52-week high on Thursday. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.
