Similarly, S&P BSE Smallcap index dropped 764 points and completed the day at 29,146.54.

As a result of a significant sell-off in nearly all the index equities, the major indices are currently trading at their lowest levels of the day. The mood of investors was weakened by negative global indications. S&P BSE Sensex is trading at a level of 58,811.16 after plunging 1,122 points. Nifty 50 index also dropped 325 points, reaching 17,551.45 points.  

  

Similarly, S&P BSE Smallcap index dropped 764 points and completed the day at 29,146.54. The Top Gainers of the index include McLeod Russel India, Mishra Dhatu Nigam, Elantas Beck India, WPIL, and IIFL Wealth Management.  

  

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, September 19, 2022:  

  

3i Infotech: The company was awarded a contract from ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) for FMS for IT & non-IT (walkies/radios/IS mobile) and AMC for IT assets at Dahej, Vadodara & RO locations. The total contract value is approximately Rs 4.20 crore plus GST. CARE Ratings Limited & CRISIL Ratings Ltd has withdrawn the rating of ‘CRISIL BBB-/Stable’ in respect of the company’s long-term bank facilities, as the same are repaid and there are no dues outstanding.  

  

D B Realty: The shares of D B Realty touched the upper circuit after surging 5 per cent to reach a price of Rs 109.50 per share on September 16. The company has been witnessing a high number of buyers and locking in the upper circuit for the past five consecutive trading sessions.   

  

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank: The company board has approved the allotment of 22.62 crore equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each to eligible qualified institutional buyers at an issue price of Rs 21 per equity share. Ujjivan Small Finance traded at its new 52-week high.   

 

Godawari Power & Ispat: Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Raipur has accorded Godawari Power its consent to operate for enhanced capacity of the iron ore pellet plant from 2.4 million tonnes per annum to 2.7 million tonnes per annum with immediate effect. An increasing volume of buying was seen in the stock in the past three days.  

  

52-week high stocks:  Bharat Dynamics, Elantas Beck India, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, and Thermax.
