The domestic market snapped a seven-day losing streak and was trading higher intraday with Sensex gaining around 900 points and Nifty50 reclaiming the 17,000 mark as Reserve Bank of India announced another rate hike by 50 basis points to 5.9 per cent today.

The domestic market snapped a seven-day losing streak and was trading higher intraday with Sensex gaining around 900 points and Nifty50 reclaiming the 17,000 mark as Reserve Bank of India announced another rate hike by 50 basis points to 5.9 per cent today.  

  

S&P BSE Sensex closed at a level of 57,489.92 after a surge of 1,079 points. Nifty 50 index also jumped 276 points, trading at 17,094.35 level. Likewise, Bank Nifty index skyrocketed 984 points and is trading at 38,631.95 level.  

  

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, October 3, 2022:  

  

Arvind SmartspacesThe board has approved the consolidation of the partnership interest of the company in Ahmedabad East Infrastructure for 55.24 per cent and profit sharing in AEI LLP of 98 per cent upon acquisition of the entire partnership interest of Arvind Infrabuild LLP in AILLP. The shares of Arvind Smartspaces rose more than 3 per cent to a price of Rs 245.95 per share.  

  

CE Info SystemsDelhi Government and MapmyIndia Mappls signed an MoU to develop a decision-making tool to develop an accessible and connected network of charging stations. The shares of CE Info Systems rose more than 3 per cent and closed at Rs 1,399 per share in today’s session.  

  

RateGain Travel TechnologiesThe shares of RateGain Travel Technologies climbed more than 3.5 per cent on September 30. The company announced today that Akasa Air, India’s newest airline, has selected RateGain’s AirGain product to make air travel affordable for its customers by leveraging accurate and real-time airfare data. 

  

Lumax IndustriesThe company has inaugurated an advanced lighting technical centre in Czech Republic. On a six-month basis, the shares of Lumax Industries have appreciated more than 71 per cent. It closed at Rs 1,625 per share on BSE today.  

  

52-week high stocks: Gujarat Fluorochemicals, RPG Life Sciences, Tejas Networks, Ingersoll Rand India Limited, and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders.
