Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

PG Electroplast, Shanthi Gears, AIA Engineering, Voltamp Transformers, Fine Organic Industries, CreditAccess Grameen, Kohinoor Foods, Shanti Overseas (India), Standard Industries, VRL Logistics, Phoenix Mills, and Raymond made a fresh 52-week high today

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets broke its winning streak to close in the red territory. Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the session at 16,584.50 and 55,566.41, down by 0.46 per cent and 0.64 per cent respectively.

BSE Smallcap index outperformed broader markets by recording gains of 0.68 per cent and close at 26,370.81. Top Gainers of the index include Mirza International, HOEC, PG Electroplast, Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo, Shriram Properties and Khadim India. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, Nath Bio-Genes (India), Grauer and Weil (India), SVP Global Textiles, Lux Industries and Subex.

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, June 1, 2022:    

NXTDigital – This company, along with Thaicom Public Company Limited (Thailand), has made a joint announcement of having signed a binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to form a strategic partnership to enter the broadband-over-satellite market and related services in India. This will include a possibility for future deployment of additional capacity on a new state-of-the-art software-defined high-throughput satellite over India, to augment the existing operational IPSTAR-1 satellite. 

Sterling Tools – The company’s EV venture - Sterling Gtake E-Mobility's revenue for Q4FY22 stood at Rs 30.9 crore, registering a monthly run rate of Rs 10 crore. In July 2021, it had bagged an order worth Rs 60 crore from a leading electric two-wheeler maker for high-speed electric two-wheeler application and also, secured a follow-up order for Rs 100 crore from the same customer. It has also secured orders from ten other EV OEMs. The order book as of date stands at Rs 175 crore, all of which will be executed in FY23. 

Brightcom Group - The company reported a strong year with consolidated revenue of Rs 5,019 crore and a net profit of Rs 912.2 crore for FY22. Q4FY22 revenues stood at Rs 1,240 crore with a net profit of Rs 223 crore. The company achieved an operating free cash flow of Rs 287 crore for the year FY22. The board has decided to pay out a significant amount of Rs 60.54 crore as a dividend to reward its shareholders. This represents a dividend payout ratio of around 7 per cent.   

52-week high stocks – PG Electroplast, Shanthi Gears, AIA Engineering, Voltamp Transformers, Fine Organic Industries, CreditAccess Grameen, Kohinoor Foods, Shanti Overseas (India), Standard Industries, VRL Logistics, Phoenix Mills, and Raymond made a fresh 52-week high today.
