These 3 small-cap stocks gain over 4 per cent in a falling market!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 3,592.15 and made its day high at 3,592.46 and closed in the red with a downside move by more than 0.72 per cent.     

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 4 per cent today.      

Shares of CSB Bank Limited were trading up by more than 4.7 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Monday at Rs 234.85 and opened on Tuesday at Rs 233.15 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 247.10 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 275, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 178. Presently, the promoters are holding a 49.72 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 17.29 per cent and 32.98 per cent, respectively.      

Another top player today is PNC Infratech Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 6 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 272.90 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 289.45. The 52-week high of PNC Infratech Limited is at Rs 354.55, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 219.35. The promoters are holding around 56.07 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 38.90 per cent and 5.04 per cent, respectively.      

One more top gainer today which shot up by 6 per cent is Sun Pharma Advance Research Company Limited. The stock opened at Rs 169.15 and touched its day high at Rs 184.85. On Monday, the shares closed at Rs 168.80 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 309, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 160.50. Currently, the promoters are holding about 65.68 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 4.18 per cent and 30.14 per cent, respectively.
