Today, shares of the company are trading in green after the company bagged a deal worth Rs 667 crore

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will get six Domier-228 aircraft under a deal signed by the Ministry of Defence with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on March 10, 2023, for a total of Rs 667 crore. The IAF employed the aircraft for communication and route transport tasks. Later, it was also included in the IAF's transport pilot training programme. A five-bladed composite propeller and an updated fuel-efficient engine will be installed in the current batch of six aircrafts. Scrip opened today at Rs 2,855.00 and touched its 52-week high at Rs 2,915.00. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 2,915.00, whereas the 52-week low was Rs 1,360.00. Promoters hold 75.15 per cent, whereas institutional and non-institutional holdings are 19.86 per cent and 4.98 per cent, respectively. Presently, the market cap of the company is Rs 96,007.67 crore.    

Hindustan Aeronautics received the "Navratna" designation from the GoI in June 2007 and, according to the MoD Annual Report 2016-2017, is the largest DPSU in terms of output value. According to Flight International, in terms of sales, it was the largest aerospace firm in the world in 2016. Its business is divided into five complexes: the Bangalore Complex, MiG Complex, Helicopter Complex, Accessory Complex and Design Complex. These complexes collectively include several industrial divisions and numerous research and design centres (R&D Centers) dispersed throughout India. For the purpose of manufacturing its goods, it relies on in-house research as well as contracts for the transfer of knowledge and licensing.
